| | Ian Bamsey BEng.
Managing Director
Ian has a range of business and engineering experience. With PricewaterhouseCoopers Ian led a 4 year, £10M revenue improvement project for the Grid Corporation of Orissa, in India. Subsequently, he led the development programme for an inter-company bulk-supply energy billing system for the same utility and was involved in a further implementation in Andrha Pradesh. Ian has a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, his information technology experience has been developed from a fundamental grounding as a programmer and ranges from control system engineering to finance and billing systems. Ian has broad engineering experience and has led product development efforts, achieving an ISO9001 accreditation for the design process. His other roles include Assistant R&D Manager and Product Manager. Ian has worked in Europe, India, the USA, Jamaica and Pakistan. |

| | Rob Pumphrey BEng., PhD.
Technical Director
Rob has a first class degree in Civil Engineering and a Doctorate in applied mathematics. Rob has 10 years' programming experience working on both UNIX and Windows platforms. He has detailed knowledge of numerical modelling, particularly in the area of structural dynamics. Rob is a software architect with a range of programming skills gained principally while working for the AEA Technology group in the UK and the USA. Rob has presented at Industry conferences on wind power and has published papers on subjects including the effects of human crowd loading on structures and the dynamic response of turbine blades. |

| | Brian Lings BSc., PhD.Information Systems Director
Brian holds a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia. He is a software engineer with 30 years experience of research as an academic in Queensland (Australia), Exeter, and Skövde (Sweden). His specialisms are in the areas of database systems and distributed model-driven development (MDD), where he has published widely. He has particular interests in distributed development and issues related to interoperability. He is a co-developer of the 2G method for analysis of tool requirements in organisations. The method has been used within Volvo IT and SAAB Combitech. He is a co-researcher on the BBSRC-funded e-Science project e-Fungi, with primary responsibility for Data Warehousing of functional and genomic data, and a member of the EU FP6 funded CALIBRE CA on Open Source/Libre software, looking at distributed development methods and possible lessons for industry. He currently chairs the steering committee of the UK database conference, BNCOD. |

Consultant
Alan Smith is an highly skilled programme and project manager (Prince 2) with over 30 years of experience in IT including 15 years working at a senior level in the NHS on national projects. He played a major role in strategy and management as a director within the NHS Information Authority (a Special Health Authority with annual operating costs of over £250m).In 2003 Alan was awarded IT Government Computing Innovator of the Year for his work on the NHS Number Programme and his project on NHS Numbers for Babies (NN4b) was awarded Best Project Management of the Year.
Prior to working within the NHS Alan was the IT director of an American Fortune 500 company with annual sales of $390m. His previous appointments in both the private and public sectors have included Commercial Director, IT Director, Programme Manager, Project Manager, Senior IT Consultant and Business Analyst. Alan has worked throughout the UK, Europe and America. |

Consultant
Graham brings a wealth of management experience to our consulting projects. As a Director of JDS - Uniphase Graham was responsible for establishing a new £10M manufacturing facility in the UK and led technology transfers to Taiwan and China. As Operations Director with a telecom component manufacturer Graham oversaw the development of production technology increasing volumes by 400%. Other areas of experience include plastic moulding, commercial property development and general manufacturing. As a consultant for the E.I.T.B he focused on introducing new technology and optimising company structures. |

| | Roland Kay BEng.
Consultant
Roland is a Chartered Accountant with a background in Civil Engineering. He joined Price Waterhouse (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) on graduation and gained experience in all departments of the firm before transferring into its Management Consultancy arm. His work with PW over a period of 10 years was mainly in the Public Sector, including Central and Local Government and the Health Service. He also carried out a number of long term assignments overseas in Africa, the Middle East and India. He was seconded to Shell for a period of 15 months to supervise expenditure on its oil facilities in Oman. He left PW in order to gain experience in industry with the Acer Group of consulting engineers. He was the financial controller and company secretary of Acer Engineering, later becoming Deputy Managing Director of Acer Environmental. |

Rajneesh's first degree is in Electronics and Telecommunications. He has over 15 years' experience of Information Technology gained while working as a consultant and as a developer. As a Senior Manager with Pricewaterhouse, Rajneesh led the development of a range of investment management applications now deployed in various banks and financial institutions in the Caribbean. As a software architect he is experienced in: distributed applications framework development, databasing, network and web-based systems. His programming skills include C++, Java, VB and Pascal. He has worked on UNIX and Windows platforms utilising a range of CASE techniques and development methodologies. |
